| Meeting Agenda | In order to make the club members aware about the work done in Salumbre village during the year 1990, 33 years ago, Salumbre Village visit was arranged and facilitated by IPP Cdr Girish and PP Kumar. 25 members visited today and got the information from the Salumbre villagers/committee who worked on this project earlier. Later, after this meeting, Lunch was arranged and sponsored by PP Kumar at Lodha Belmondo club house. Thanks to PDG Ravee, IPP Girish, PP Kumar for excellent coordination and providing great exposure to the 25 members. Next Action plan: Identifying the village, committee formation, planning, scope identification. |

| Minutes of Meeting | On 2nd July 2023, 22 Rotarians from the Club met at Gramprabhodini School Salumbre @ 11:30 AM Rotarians were greeted by the school Teachers and village Sarpanch and Upa Sarpach along with a few villagers, and then they were taken to the School Assembly Hall A presentation and a video clip on various Educational and Social Projects of the village and vocational programs by the Gram Prabhodini school was shown to the members. A detailed explanation was given by the renowned school teacher and well-known personality Bhadane Sir about all the ongoing projects in the village. Later all the members visited the art gallery of the school wherein all the art works were displayed; performed by the school children. A meeting was followed, where in Bhadane Sir explained how back in the day’s village was transformed in to the Nirmal Gram Award winning village with the help of Rotary Club of Poona North and other alliances. Snacks & tea was provided to all the members sponsored by the school. Rotarian Ravee explained the purpose of the visit and seek assistance from the village authorities in selecting a new village for our next project ‘Punascha Salumbre’ Next Action plan was decided. Identifying the village, committee formation, planning, scope identification At around 2:00 PM Rotarians departed for the lunch venue. Lunch was arranged and sponsored at Lodha Belmondo club house by Rotarian Kumar Shingare. Post lunch, members made a short visit to the home of Rotarian Kumar @Lodha Belmondo. At around 3:30 PM meeting was concluded and all members left in their respective vehicles. |
